Where Did the Colors First Come From

As is known, Trabzonspor's colors today are dark bordo (burgundy) and light blue. The basis for these colors comes from the two teams that also formed the foundation of Trabzonspor: İdmanocağı and İdmangücü. It is claimed that the bordo color comes from the бордовый hue of the anchovy's eye, and the light blue color from the light blue of the skin.

What Do the Colors Represent

Although rumors are connected to certain points, the first use of the colors actually originated from Trabzonspor's crest being sewn onto Aston Villa's jerseys in the early years. When the secondary color turned from orange to gray, it was concluded, upon research within TS Haber, that it was chosen because it was more suitable for the anchovy color.
