Is There Reward for Bayram Prayer?
Of course, all prayers offered for the sake of Allah have abundant rewards in His sight. However, some prayers are obligatory for a community, and even if one person performs that prayer, the obligation is lifted from the rest. For example, the funeral prayer is an obligatory prayer that must be performed. However, there is no obligation for everyone in the community to perform all funeral prayers. There is reward for performing it, but no sin for not performing it.

In Bayram prayers, people are brothers to one another, and on this special day, those who are estranged reconcile. The Almighty Creator has not made Bayram prayers obligatory for all His servants. The obligatory prayers are only the 5 daily prayers that must be performed. However, the reward for supererogatory prayers is very high in the sight of Allah.
